About
I am ZOILA MAY RANARIO-DALPATAN from THE PHILIPPINES. I am a graduate of University of St. La Salle-Bacolod with a degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in English. I also took and graduated my Masters Degree in Education Major in Educational Leadership in the same university through a scholarship program of our province. I've been teaching for 16 fruitful years, and I consider it as a testimony that I am a passionate, patient, understanding, competent, innovative, good communicator and good listener and a versatile teacher. I taught Grade 6 students for 11 years and currently teaching Grade 2 learners for 5 years.
These experiences molded me into the teacher that I am today, a teacher who sees the potential in my students before they see it in themselves. I believe in their abilities, their dreams, and their growth—even when they doubt. I am a teacher who acknowledges that students learn in different ways, and I recognizes the theory of multiple intelligences. That is very evident in my class as I observed differentiated instructions.
I am also a fun and engaging teacher, I believe that students learn well if they are not pressured, and if they feel that you understand them, and they are free to make mistakes because I am there to help, guide, and correct them, not scold them. I am also a person who always thinks of something that I can contribute to the betterment of the students and the school. I always involved myself in the decision-making, assessing, and mentoring, for I am a believer that we are ONE TEAM in the school. With my positive attitude towards teaching, I can be of great contribution to one of the schools in the USA.
Being a graduate from a catholic school, instilled in me the values of teaching minds, touching hearts and transforming lives. With that, I am very excited to share what I know, learned, and what I have to the children in the USA.
