I am a proud educator from the Philippines with nine years of experience teaching Social Studies. Teaching has never been just a profession for me—it is my passion and my way of making a difference in the lives of young people.
Throughout my journey as a teacher, I have learned that the most meaningful lessons happen when students feel valued, inspired, and encouraged to believe in themselves. Seeing my students grow in confidence, character, and knowledge has been the most rewarding part of my career.
I am excited about the opportunity to join the Participate Learning Program because I believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. I look forward to sharing Filipino culture, values, and perspectives while also learning from educators and communities in the United States. I see this program as a chance to grow both professionally and personally, and to build meaningful connections across cultures.
I am eager to bring my experience, dedication, and genuine love for teaching to this program, and I hope to contribute positively to the lives of the students and communities I will serve.
