I am suitable for the position of a science teacher (Chemistry/Physics specialist) primarily because of my over 26 years experience on the job, I have developed vital skills and assets necessary to excel on the job.
I have developed and built my communication skills to excel in my classroom duties, my writing and computing skills are quite advanced and are useful assets contributing to my effectiveness as a 21st century teacher.
My adaptive teaching skills to meet the needs of different learners assigned to me are quite advanced and an important asset to excel on the job.
My science practical skills are quite innovative and readily available to meet the academic needs of hands-on learners and all learners assigned to me.
My class control and class management skills are well developed, flexible, innovative and continually adapted to serve the needs of different learners in my class: I am quick to reward and quick to praise the little efforts of my students.
Also, my academic qualifications and certifications are very useful assets to achieve above and beyond on the job.
With a bachelor's and master's degrees in the field of Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, I have an advanced understanding and knowledge of major science (Chemistry/Physics) subjects and Mathematics for key stages 3-5.
I have a number of written commendations from my previous headteacher and from a vast number of students in my current role, which further validates my competency and impact as a teacher and tutor in this chosen field and current role.
As a dedicated educator with over 26 years of experience, I am committed to fostering a deep appreciation for the sciences in general and empowering students with critical thinking skills.
Beyond the classroom, I have served in various leadership capacities, including Department Head and mentor to early-career teachers. I am quite passionate about professional development and I am current with the latest advancements in science and pedagogy to ensure my teaching remains relevant and impactful.
