About

I am a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and several years of experience teaching secondary and senior high school students. I currently teach in the public school system, where I handle subjects such as Reading and Writing, Oral Communication, 21st Century Literature, Media and Information Literacy, and Practical Research.

Throughout my teaching experience, I have developed strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, differentiated instruction, and the use of technology to support learning. I enjoy creating a classroom environment where students feel respected, encouraged, and confident to participate. I also value collaboration with colleagues and believe that understanding students' individual needs is essential to helping them succeed.

One of my strengths is teaching English and communication skills to learners with different abilities, backgrounds, and learning needs. My experience in the Philippine public school system has taught me to be flexible, resourceful, patient, and committed to student growth even when faced with limited resources and diverse classroom situations.

I am interested in teaching in the United States because I want to broaden my professional experience, learn from the American education system, and contribute my own experiences and perspectives as an international educator. I look forward to working with diverse students, collaborating with fellow educators, and sharing Filipino culture while learning from the school community I become part of.

I consider myself a dedicated, adaptable, and compassionate teacher who is always willing to learn and grow. My goal is to help students develop not only academically but also as confident, responsible, and lifelong learners.
