About
I am a trained teacher from the University of Education, Winneba (Ghana) with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies (with Geography) Education degree and experience teaching at both the junior and senior high school levels. My teaching journey began informally prior to my undergraduate studies, where I taught at Gospel Avenue School, teaching both as a primary and junior high school teacher. Formally, my teaching experience began during my internship and continued through my national service and subsequent teaching roles in public and private schools. These experiences have helped me develop practical classroom skills, including lesson preparation, classroom management, student assessment, and supporting learners with different needs and abilities.
Working with students has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and building positive relationships in the classroom. I enjoy helping learners gain confidence in their abilities and encouraging active participation during lessons. I am comfortable working with colleagues, adapting to new environments, and taking on responsibilities that contribute to the smooth running of a school. I look forward to bringing my experience to a new educational setting while continuing to grow as a teacher and learn from others.
