About
I am a professional teacher with three years Diploma in Basic Education, Two years Bachelor degree in Basic Education and a four Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. As a passionate teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience across primary, junior high, and senior high school levels, I have acquired a depth of knowledge, well experience in different pedagogical strategies, and a commitment to student-centered learning. I have developed this students-centred learning approach and differentiated instruction in order to meet the individual needs of all students.
I hold a Bachelor of Education degree in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry. Throughout my career in Ghana’s public education system, I have designed and delivered lessons that cater for diverse needs of learners, support academic success, and encourage critical thinking and innovative skills.
Currently, I serve as a Biology and Integrated Science teacher at Agona Senior High Technical School, where I plan and implement curriculum-aligned lessons, use formative and summative assessment tools, and foster an inclusive classroom environment. My prior roles have equipped me with strong classroom management skills, the ability to differentiate instruction, excellent classroom management skills and a true care for the growth and development of each student. I am very passionate about my duties as a teacher, very adaptable and easy going teacher.
I am particularly attracted to teaching outside my home country to get experience of wide range of teaching materials, pedagogies, and meeting people of different cultures. I am more concerned on innovation, inclusivity and holistic development of my students and my colleagues. I am ready and willing to share with others my culture and my experiences and also learn from them. I am confident that my international experience, together with my passion for teaching and continuous professional development, aligns well with your school’s vision.
