About
I am an experienced Mathematics Educator with over 10 years of teaching experience across international and secondary education settings, specialising in Cambridge IGCSE, AS & A-Level Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Mechanics, Probability and Statistics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education and an MSc in Accounting and Finance, with a strong academic foundation that enables me to integrate analytical thinking, real-world applications, and advanced problem-solving approaches into mathematics instruction.
Throughout my teaching career, I have successfully supported students in developing strong mathematical reasoning, conceptual understanding, confidence, and independent learning skills. I have taught diverse learners across different ability levels, delivering topics including algebra, calculus, trigonometry, functions, sequences and series, coordinate geometry, statistics, probability, and mathematical modelling. I apply student-centred methodologies, differentiated instruction, and technology-enhanced learning strategies to improve student engagement and academic achievement.
My teaching philosophy is centred on making mathematics meaningful, challenging, and accessible by connecting theoretical concepts with practical applications. I am passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where students are encouraged to think critically, develop analytical skills, and build the confidence required for success in STEM disciplines and future academic pursuits.
I am seeking an opportunity to contribute my international teaching experience, strong subject expertise in Pure and Applied Mathematics, and commitment to educational excellence within the United States education system while continuing to grow as a global educator.
