About
I am a dedicated and results-driven English and Literature teacher with over six years of experience in secondary school education. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Arts) and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Literature. My passion lies in fostering student growth, academic excellence, and holistic development through effective teaching and mentorship.
I possess strong skills in classroom management, curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and differentiated instruction. I am highly effective in engaging learners, motivating students, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. Additionally, I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which enable me to collaborate well with colleagues, students, and parents.
Throughout my career, I have taught at Kilimamungu High School and Burieruri High School, where I delivered English and Literature lessons, developed curriculum-aligned lesson plans, and served as a class teacher. I have also been actively involved in co-curricular activities, including coaching badminton, leading drama and debate clubs, and participating in guidance and counseling programs.
My key achievements include being appointed Head of the Languages Department and Curriculum Mistress, leading students to regional drama and debate competitions, and successfully preparing candidates for national examinations as a trained examiner. These experiences reflect my commitment to educational excellence and student success.
