About
I am a licensed professional teacher from the Philippines with over ten years of experience teaching English Language Arts to middle school and high school students. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and a Master of Arts in Education major in English. Both credentials have been evaluated by a U.S.-recognized credential evaluation agency, and I am prepared to pursue teacher certification in the United States.
Throughout my teaching career, I have designed and delivered engaging, standards-based lessons that promote critical thinking, communication, and academic excellence. I am experienced in differentiated instruction, integrating educational technology, and supporting diverse learners, particularly students with learning gaps. My teaching approach emphasizes creating an inclusive, student-centered classroom where every learner can succeed.
Beyond classroom instruction, I have demonstrated strong leadership by serving as the Team Leader of the Professional Learning Community (PLC), leading initiatives to improve student achievement through collaborative professional development. I also spearheaded a Reading Remediation Program that strengthened students' reading comprehension and fostered a lasting appreciation for literature. As a Teacher Facilitator in the National Learning Camp, I helped implement literacy interventions that addressed learning loss and improved students' academic performance. Currently based in the Philippines, I am open to full relocation and visa sponsorship.
