About
I am Roldan A. Garcia, a licensed Social Studies teacher from the Philippines with more than 14 years of teaching experience. I currently teach Grade 8 and Grade 10 students, covering subjects such as World History, Asian Studies, Economics, and Contemporary Issues.
I am a hardworking, patient, and adaptable teacher who enjoys helping students learn and become responsible and critical thinkers. I have strong skills in classroom management, lesson planning, student assessment, communication, leadership, and the use of technology in teaching.
Aside from teaching, I have served as a Social Studies Coordinator, District Scouting Coordinator, class adviser, and basketball referee. I have also received awards and recognitions for my teaching and service, including being an ICONIC Public High School Teacher finalist and receiving Gold Service Awards from the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.
I believe my teaching experience, leadership skills, and willingness to learn will allow me to contribute positively to a new school community while continuing to grow as an educator.
