About
I am a passionate and results-driven educator with over a decade of experience teaching agricultural science and related subjects such as Integrated Science at the senior high school level in Ghana. I hold an MPhil in Agronomy and a BSc in Agricultural Science Education (Second-Class Upper Honors), with strong expertise in crop science, post-harvest technology, and sustainable agriculture.
As the Examination Officer of Dwamena Akenten Senior High School, I have successfully coordinated large-scale academic assessments, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and efficiency in the school’s examination processes. My role has sharpened my leadership, organizational, and data management skills, while deepening my commitment to academic integrity and student success.
Beyond classroom teaching, I am deeply committed to educational innovation. I have led projects and advocacy campaigns to promote agricultural education in Ghana’s basic and secondary schools, integrating practical, hands-on learning to make science more engaging and relevant to students’ lives.
My teaching philosophy centers on mentorship, inclusivity, and critical thinking. I believe in nurturing students’ curiosity, guiding them to connect theory with real-life applications, and helping them develop skills for lifelong learning. I am also eager to share my global perspective and cross-cultural teaching experience in an American classroom, where I can contribute to both academic excellence and diversity in education.
