As a dynamic and well-rounded person, I am fond of reading current events and other non-fiction materials that can be accessed from the internet. I also engage in physical activities such as gardening, working-out, and playing table tennis. Moreover, I love cooking different delicacies which I enrich from various contents in social media. Lastly, I enhance my skills in utilizing technology such as Canva, Google apps, and other interactive apps that are useful for my professional and personal growth. I keep myself updated of the useful technology which I can take advantage of in teaching.
As an English teacher, my personality is highly adaptive, resourceful, diligent, collaborative, dynamic and efficient. I care about the growth and development of my learners so that they will become useful and highly functional individuals. I grow with my colleagues professionally in terms of actively sharing resources, discussing curriculum design, and collaborating on best teaching practices.
Moreover, I make sure that I provide the necessary learning materials with my students. I make sure that my learners are provided with varied, engaging and worthwhile learning activities. Another quality which I believe I possess is being diligent. As such, I perform the task that is entrusted to me by my superiors even beyond the official time.

Equipped with teaching pedagogies and 21st-century skills from my studies, professional growth involvement and 21 years of teaching experience, it is with utmost desire that I apply as an English Language Arts teacher. As an enthusiastic and dedicated educator from the Philippines, I am excited about the opportunity of bringing my passion for teaching and my experience in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment to your school community.
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English and Master of Arts in Education from Mindanao State University. I also hold teaching licenses awarded by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED).
For the past 21 years, I have been teaching the English subject at Lagao National High School, where I have developed a deep commitment to nurturing young minds and strengthening students’ linguistic and communicative competence to prepare them for global opportunities. Throughout my teaching career, I have designed and implemented creative, interactive, and student-centered lessons that address the diverse learning needs of my students. I regularly use differentiated instruction to ensure that all learners receive the support necessary for academic success. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering a positive, respectful, and motivating classroom environment where students feel valued and empowered. I encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and active participation, and I integrate technology to make learning more meaningful and engaging.
In the previous years, I performed ancillary tasks such as English Master Teacher and Department Head, School Publication Adviser and Learning Resource Management System Coordinator. I also led in the development of Self-Learning Modules in Journalism in our region, and a division focal person for the development of English learning materials in Junior High School.
