About
I am a professionally trained teacher from Ghana with over fifteen years of experience teaching Social Studies and English Language at the junior high school level. I hold a Master of Education degree in Social Studies and have developed strong expertise in lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and differentiated instruction. My teaching approach focuses on engaging learners, addressing individual learning needs, and creating a structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes academic success.
In my current role with the Ghana Education Service at A.M.E. Zion Junior High School, I design and implement curriculum-aligned lessons, assess student progress using continuous assessment methods, and provide targeted academic support to improve learning outcomes. Since 2023, I have also served as Assistant Headteacher (Academics), where I support instructional supervision, coordinate assessments, mentor teachers, and assist in maintaining high academic standards across the school. This leadership role has strengthened my skills in academic planning, teamwork, and instructional improvement.
Beyond classroom teaching, I value collaboration and professional growth. I work closely with colleagues through Professional Learning Community activities and maintain effective communication with parents to support student development. My experience, combined with strong organizational and communication skills, has prepared me to contribute positively to a school community while supporting diverse learners and upholding high professional standards.
