About
I am a trained music educator with a solid academic background, holding a Master of Philosophy in Music and a Bachelor of Education in Music from the University of Education, Winneba, and having completed secondary education at Adventist Secondary School, Bantama. My skills include music theory, composition, choral directing, keyboard performance, classroom management, student assessment, leadership, and teamwork. Fluent in English and Asante Twi, I combine strong pedagogy and practical musicianship.
I have extensive teaching experience across various levels at Glory Land Educational Complex, Mfantsipim School, and as Choral Director of Heavenly Jewels Chorale in Ghana. My duties included instruction, choir training, student evaluation, and preparing ensembles for concerts, church services, and competitions. I have guided students, including non-music students, to achieve distinctions in ABRSM exams, and led my choir to win a silver medal at the African Choral and Gospel Championship in Rwanda. I have also participated in international choral engagements in South Africa, demonstrating a career rooted in instructional excellence, artistic leadership, and measurable achievements.
