About
I am writing to express my strong interest in the teaching position at your school, as advertised. With a passion for nurturing young minds and a commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment, I believe I would be a valuable addition to your teaching team.
I hold a Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Masters’ Degree (Master of Arts in Education Major in Elementary Education) and have 12 years of experience in public school. Five years as a Kindergarten teacher, another five years as a grade one teacher and for the remaining years as Third grade classroom teacher.
I bring a strong foundation in early literacy, play-based learning, and differentiated instruction. I am enthusiastic about contributing to your school community and bringing a child-centered approach that supports every learner. My experience has allowed me to plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with developmentally appropriate practices, while fostering inclusive environments where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
My strengths include effective classroom management, strong communication skills, can connect with young children and ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents and colleagues. I am patient, warm, empathetic and make sure every child feels seen and supported.
