My name is Rebeccah Obare, and I am a primary school teacher from Kenya with over 20 years of teaching experience. I hold a primary teacher Certificate fro Kaimosi Teachers Training College, A bachelor of Education( Arts) and a master's degree in Educational Administration from Kenyatta University. I have experience in teaching primary learners , implementing Kenya competency based curriculum (CBC), managing classrooms, assessing students progress , maintaining educational records , and working closely with parents and colleagues to support student success . Iam passionate about creating a safe , engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. I enjoy learning new teaching methods , collaborating with other teachers , and helping students develop academically , socially and emotionally. Iam applying for the J-1 teacher exchange program because I want to exchange educational ideas , experience the USA education system , and share Kenyan culture with my students and colleagues , and bring valuable knowledge and best practices back to Kenya to improve teaching and learning.
