About
Good day!
My name is Razel Joy A. Pinaaling, an elementary teacher with 14 years of teaching
experience. I am currently teaching at Dukdokaan Integrated School in Misamis Oriental,
Philippines as a 4th, 5th, 6th grade teacher handling English and Science. I have completed
the online application in the district’s website. I want to express my interest to apply as a
teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Science and Health at Xavier
University-Ateneo de Cagayan in Cagayan de Oro City last 2007. I pursued Master of Arts in
Education major in Educational Management at Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City,
Bukidnon from November 2008- March 2018 with 42 academic units. Every child learns at
their own pace and in their own way. I believe in tailoring my teaching strategies to meet each
student’s unique needs, interests, and strengths. By recognizing individual differences and
offering personalized guidance, I help each child reach their full potential and experience the
joy of personal growth.
As an elementary teacher, my philosophy of education is rooted in the belief that every child
is a unique individual with the potential to learn, grow, and thrive. I am dedicated to fostering
a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity, encourages curiosity,
and inspires a lifelong love of learning. I see my role as more than imparting knowledge; it
involves creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters a love for learning,
curiosity, and the development of essential life skills. Children are unique individuals with
distinct learning styles, interests, and abilities. In my classroom, I prioritize child-centered
learning, tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of each student. This approach
encourages autonomy, self-discovery, and a sense of ownership over their learning journey.
Nurturing creativity and critical thinking is essential for preparing students for the challenges
of the 21st century. I encourage open-ended tasks, problem-solving activities, and
opportunities for self-expression to develop students' ability to think independently and
innovatively. Education is a lifelong journey, and I aim to instil a love of learning in my
students. I encourage a growth mindset, where challenges are seen as opportunities for
growth and learning. By modelling curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to continuous
improvement, I inspire students to embrace lifelong learning and personal development.
I am a team player. I try my best to contribute my skills and resources for the benefit of my
team and the school in general.
