I have over eight years of teaching experience in the Philippines, where I have had the privilege of working with young learners across various subjects, including reading, math, and values education. My goal as an educator is to create a classroom environment that is safe, supportive, and engaging, where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
My teaching approach is centered on making learning both fun and meaningful. I firmly believe that each child is unique, and I strive to tailor my lessons to meet the diverse needs of my students. I focus not only on academic growth but also on helping students build confidence, strong values, and essential life skills. I am passionate about sparking curiosity in my students and helping them discover the joy of learning.
Throughout my career, I have also had the privilege of mentoring other teachers, leading workshops, and creating educational resources. These experiences have allowed me to grow as both a teacher and a leader, and I take great pride in supporting students in extracurricular activities such as sports like volleyball, badminton, music like playing guitar, journalism and academic competitions. I find immense joy in seeing my students succeed and develop a strong sense of self-confidence, leadership and teamwork skills.
About
I am writing in regards to the Elementary Grade Teacher position. I am currently a Teacher III with over 8 years of experience in teaching first grade students here in our place, Mansalay Central School, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. I have become an expert at commanding student attention and managing both small and large classrooms. I believe these skills, combined with my ability to foster constructive learning environments, make me an ideal candidate for this role.
Some highlights from my current and past teaching experiences include:
• During my first year of teaching, I have handled kindergarten and first grade students.
• Aside from my teaching job, I acted as the School Information Coordinator
• I have been also the coach of volleyball for girls of our District for 5 consecutive years
• I am one of the School Paper Advisers in our District
• I allotted my free time in giving interventions and enhancement activities for those at - risks students
Beyond my teaching experience and classroom management skills, I believe my enthusiasm makes me a perfect fit to serve as an Elementary Grade Teacher.
