About
I am a dedicated and passionate elementary and special needs teacher with a strong background in inclusive education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Studies, a Diploma in Special Needs Education, and a Post-Diploma in Functional and Educational Assessment from the Kenya Institute of Special Education. I am currently a full-time teacher under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), where I teach all elementary subjects.
I have extensive experience working with diverse learners, including children with autism and other special needs. I specialize in creating learner-centered, inclusive classroom environments that support academic, social, and emotional growth. My strengths include differentiated instruction, behavior management, individualized education planning, and promoting positive classroom culture.
I have been recognized for excellence in teaching, including receiving county-level awards for outstanding performance in English. I also served as Vice Chairperson of the KISE Student Council, demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills.
I am committed to continuous professional growth and to using innovative, evidence-based strategies to support all learners. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my skills, dedication, and global perspective to a diverse classroom.
