I would describe myself as a strong communicator, problem-solver and collaborative leader. As a Mathematics Subject Head, I have developed strong leadership and organisational skills, while teaching learners from different abilities has strengthened my adaptability and classroom-management skills. I am also analytical by nature, which helps me use assessment data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions. In addition, my postgraduate research in Modelling, Data and AI has strengthened my research, analytical and technology skills. Above all, I am committed to continuous learning and to helping others achieve their full potential.
About
I am an experienced and a professionally qualified mathematics educator with a B.Sc(Hons) Mathematics, a Diploma in Education as well a M.Phil Mathematics. I have developed my career around the teaching of Mathematics, Curriculum delivery, Student support and Professional collaboration. I currently serve as a Subject head for Mathematics.
In my current role, I teach mathematics at the secondary level with a responsibility for aspects of curriculum planning, assessment, supporting colleagues and contributing positively towards student outcomes.
