About
Chemistry and Science teacher with 7+ years of high school experience
delivering results that are measurable: I raised my school's Chemistry
pass rate from 30% to 60% through structured formative assessment,
differentiated instruction, and targeted small-group intervention.
In 2025, I was appointed by Kenya's National Examinations Council as a
Chemistry Paper 2 Examiner for the national KCSE examination — one of
a select group of educators trusted to assess Chemistry at the highest
national standard.
I currently serve as Acting Director of Studies at Tawakal Mixed Day
Secondary School, coordinating timetabling, examinations, and
departmental reporting school-wide. I was also appointed Patron of the
62nd National Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (April 2026),
mentoring student teams competing at national level.
I hold a Bachelor of Education (Science), Major: Chemistry, from
Kenyatta University, Kenya (GPA 3.0) and have completed AI Educator
training (2026) and CBC/CBA curriculum training.
