About
I am a passionate and experienced Physics and Science educator with over a decade of teaching experience across different Key Stages . I hold a Bachelor of Science Education in Physics and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a strong track record delivering both the Nigerian and British curricula (including GCSE and IGCSE).
My teaching philosophy centers on student engagement, differentiation, and real-world application. I create inclusive, interactive learning environments that cater to diverse abilities—including high achievers and students requiring additional support (SEN). I incorporate practical experiments, ICT, and creative teaching strategies to make abstract physics concepts accessible and exciting.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught in both public and private schools, including Cal College Egbeda and Vicmob Secondary School, Lagos. I am currently the Head of Subject (Physics) at Federal Government Boys' College Garki, Abuja, Nigeria. I am skilled in formative and summative assessments, using data to inform instruction, track progress, and support academic achievement. I place high importance on lab safety and scientific rigor during experiments and demonstrations.
Beyond the classroom, I actively support student development through roles such as JETS Club coordinator, sports counsellor, and science excursion organiser. I believe in nurturing not just academic success, but also teamwork, leadership, and personal growth.
I am also committed to continuous professional development and innovation in education, including my participation in the UNESCO-INFINIX Robotics and Coding Training, and also a certified La Plage Meta Verse International Digital Volunteer.
I thrive in inclusive and collaborative learning, and I am driven by the mission to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning in young people.
