About
My name is OJEWANDE olusegun Abiodun. I am a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) holder in Primary Education Studies (2103), and possess valuable teaching experience across different educational levels, including Maa Sha Allah Primary School, Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria (2015 – 2017) Next Level Academy, Kwara State Nigeria (2018 – 2019) Lagos state Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB till date). Private home tutoring, and even teaching at the secondary school level.
Throughout my teaching career, I have developed a reputation for being patient, creative, and deeply committed to the academic and personal growth of my pupils. My communication skills enable me to build strong rapport with children, helping them learn comfortably and confidently. I am very attentive to their individual differences, ensuring that every pupil is carried along during lessons. I am competent in my field, which has earned me trust with the parents of my pupils. My approach allows each learner to feel valued and capable, regardless of their learning pace or ability.
My extensive use of instructional materials is not limited to classroom visuals only but also real-life objects and experiences that are relatable, to make lessons more engaging and memorable. My teaching goes beyond textbooks as I aim to help pupils connect their learning with the world around them. This has proven effective in deepening understanding and retention among my pupils.
In addition, I am highly proficient in the use of computers and other educational technologies, which allow me to integrate modern tools into my teaching methods. I believe that technology enhances participation, creativity, and overall learning outcomes in young learners when used appropriately.
My background as a professional Basic Education Teacher, with the application of developmental psychology, I take interest in the holistic development of my pupils, instilling discipline, empathy, and curiosity while creating a classroom environment that encourages mutual respect and enthusiasm for learning. My organizational skills, teamwork, and reliability in handling school responsibilities with professionalism have earned me commendation from my colleagues and supervisors.
