About
My name is Ofosuhemaa Ampofo, I am an experienced and passionate educator with more than seven years of experience teaching English Language and Literature and supporting young people’s academic and personal development.
At Presbyterian Senior High School in Ghana, I teach English and Literature, mentor students, and use learner-centered and inclusive approaches to help students grow in confidence, communication, and critical thinking. I am especially proud of my work with students who initially struggle with literacy and self-expression, and of supporting young people through debate and writing programs that nurture creativity and leadership.
As a former Head Teacher at Pioneers International Academy, I gained strong experience in academic coordination, safeguarding, monitoring student progress, and working in partnership with parents and school leadership to support every learner. This role deepened my belief in the importance of safe, supportive, and values-based learning environments.
I am motivated by the belief that education transforms lives, and I would be honored to contribute to a school that values academic excellence, inclusion, and holistic student development.
