About
Nwachan Mirabelle Boh is a highly motivated and experienced secondary school science teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience within the Cameroonian education system. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education (DIPES I) from the Higher Teacher’s Training College, University of Yaoundé I, with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
She has extensive experience teaching Biology, Human Biology, and Chemistry to students in grades 6–10, and designing and implementing curriculum-aligned lesson plans, setting and evaluating examinations. Likewise, she has demonstrated excellence in differentiated instruction and applying the student-centered teaching method that significantly improved learner engagement and academic performance. Her dedication is demonstrated by measurable outcomes, including a 34% improvement in students’ performance achieved through an after-school tutoring program among struggling students and a consistent increase in student enrollment and success in science subjects at national examinations.
Since 2017, she has served as Head of the Science Department, where she manages learning resources, mentors teachers, monitors instructional quality, and reports academic progress to school authorities. She is talented in creating a supportive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive learning environment, excellent classroom management, and effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues. She brings strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, alongside a passion for holistic student development, health education, and lifelong learning.
