About
As a Certified 6-12 Secondary Teacher with an endorsement in Physical Education and over six years of experience in secondary education, I am passionate about promoting physical fitness, holistic student development, and active learning. In my current role at Tagudtud National High School, I have successfully increased student engagement in physical activities by incorporating innovative teaching methods, interactive games, and technology into lessons. These strategies have not only improved students’ overall fitness levels but also reduced absenteeism in PE classes. As a result, 85% of my students have shown measurable progress in motor skills, teamwork, and self-confidence.
I firmly believe that Physical Education is key to students’ holistic development, enhancing not only their physical health but also mental well-being, social skills, and emotional resilience. Through PE, I guide students to develop discipline, perseverance, and collaboration—qualities essential for success both inside and outside the classroom. My goal is to help students grow into well-rounded individuals who are prepared to face life’s challenges.
Beyond the classroom, I bring strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills that allow me to build meaningful partnerships with parents, colleagues, and school administrators. I actively participate in school activities, clubs, and community initiatives, ensuring that students receive support both academically and personally.
As an educator, athlete, and theater director, I am adaptable, organized, and approachable, always striving to create a positive and inclusive environment. I am confident that my experience, skills, and passion for student development align with the goals of your school, and I am eager to contribute by fostering a love for physical activity and helping students reach their full potential in both academics and athletics.
