Dear Hiring Committee,
I am writing to express my strong interest in Primary Grade Teacher. As a licensed professional Teacher with 30 yrs of experience as a classroom teacher in the Philippines, I am excited about the opportunity to bring my passion for student-centered learning to your international community.
As a second mother to my students , I believe teaching goes beyond textbooks. In my current role as Primary Grade teacher specifically Grade 3 teacher I taught English, Filipino and GMRC but for the past 30 years I taught all subjects including Math, Science, Social Studies and MAPEH. I Focused on three things :
1. Letting pupils discover learning through inquiry, group work, and real life application instead of just lecture
2. Differentiated instruction for diverse learners, including students with special needs because we are on to inclusive education and varying English proficiency.
3. Value Formation- building confidence , respect, and love for learning alongside academic growth
I hold a Bachelors Degree and earned 42 units in my Masters Degree with complete academic requirements.I am comfortable teaching English and use it as our second language in teaching. Having grown up in the Philippines I understand the value of adaptability, teamwork and respect for different culture- qualities I’m eager to share with students abroad.Hope one day you will allow me to experience and contribute meaningfully from day one.
