About
I am Ofoedum Ngozi Maryanne, a passionate and results-oriented English and ICT educator with several years of experience teaching, mentoring, and leading within academic and professional environments. I currently serve as the Assistant Head of the ICT Department, where I am responsible for curriculum planning, instructional delivery, staff coordination, and the effective integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
My core skills include ICT instruction, digital literacy development, coding and robotics education, instructional design, and educational technology integration. I am highly proficient in using learner-centered teaching methodologies such as project-based learning, blended learning, flipped classroom approaches, and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
I hold a TEFL certification, which has strengthened my communication skills, classroom management strategies, and ability to teach learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Academically, my background is in Computer Science, and I continuously engage in professional development, particularly in computer-aided instruction and inclusive education.
In addition to my teaching career, I have professional experience as an IT Personnel at JB Pharmaceuticals Limited, where I supported IT systems, troubleshooting, and digital operations. This industry experience allows me to bring practical, real-world perspectives into the classroom, helping students understand how technology is applied beyond school settings.
One of my key achievements is my contribution to mentoring high school students in Biology online, helping them build confidence, and interest in Science careers. I take pride in creating engaging, supportive learning environments that empower students academically and digitally.
