About
I am a secondary English teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching junior and senior high school students in the Philippines. I hold a Master of Arts in Education major in English, and I am a licensed professional teacher with a strong background in English Language Arts instruction.
Throughout my teaching career, I have focused on creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students develop confidence as readers, writers, and speakers. I design standards-based lessons, use differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and apply formative assessments to support student growth. I have also worked extensively with students who are non-native English speakers, integrating language scaffolding and vocabulary development into my instruction.
I am seeking an opportunity to contribute my experience, strong classroom management skills, and commitment to student success as an ELA teacher in a U.S. school community.
