About
I am NANCY P. AMOR, an internationally trained educator from the Philippines with a strong passion for fostering student learning and development.
I bring with me 15 years of teaching experience in the Philippines, a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education Major in Social Studies, and a strong passion for student-centered and standards-based instruction. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your school as an international educator.
Throughout my career, I have taught diverse learners in both public and private school settings. I have consistently implemented curriculum-aligned lessons, used differentiated instruction, and applied data-driven strategies to improve student outcomes. I am also experienced in integrating technology and modern teaching strategies to support 21st-century learners.
As a Filipino teacher, I offer more than academic expertise. I bring adaptability, resilience, cultural awareness, and a strong work ethic—qualities that allow me to thrive in diverse learning environments. I am eager to share a global perspective in the classroom and help foster inclusivity and multicultural understanding among students.
I currently hold a valid teaching license in the Philippines. Although I do not yet have a U.S. state certification, I am willing to complete the required steps to obtain one and participate in a U.S. teaching program such as the J-1 teacher exchange program. I am fully prepared to meet U.S. school policies, procedures, and professional expectations. Moreover, I have completed my credential evaluation through WES, with a GPA of 3.20.
