About
My name is Nalini Dhanaraj. I have been working as a Biology teacher for the past 28 years. I am an innovative and accomplished Secondary Educator and Educational Administrative professional with a strong background in leadership, skills development, and communication. I have served as a teacher in several schools. At present, I am working as Principal cum Biology facilitator in an International School. I have completed a Master of Science & Philosophy and Bachelor of Education.
A few of my highlights and accomplishments include facilitating a consistent, predictable learning environment where students are motivated and driven by their own successes and accomplishments. Between 2015 - 2017, all my students passed with good grades in the biology ‘O’ Level Cambridge University examination. In the 2018-2019 academic year, my ‘A’ Level student achieved National Level 1st place and 3rd place in the world top ten in Biology. I have proven experience of developing curricula, preparing and executing behavior plans, evaluating student progress and building relationships with parents to update them on student performance and development. I have served as a liaison between administration & staff, assisted in developing a school-wide Technology Use Policy and related training. I feel my combination of skills in administrative management and teaching is an optimal fit for this role.
