About
I am writing to express my strong interest in pursuing a teaching opportunity in the United StatesofAmerica. As a dedicated Ghanaian educator with a solid academic background and nearly a decade of professional teaching experience, I am motivated by a deep commitment to improving student learning outcomes, fostering inclusive classrooms, and contributing positively to globally competitive education systems.
My educational journey began at Asenua Metropolitan Assembly Junior High School, where I obtained my Basic Education Certificate in 2006. I continued to Kofi Agyei Senior High School, completing my Senior High School Certificate in 2011 as an Agricultural Science student. My passion for education and desire to contribute meaningfully to society led me to pursue teacher training at Tamale College of Education, where I earned a Diploma in Basic Education (Second Class Upper) in 2015. That same year, I received my first appointment in the Ghana Education Service on 1st September, 2015.
Committed to deepening my knowledge and improving my instructional capabilities, I advanced my studies at the University of Cape Coast, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Foundations of Education in Mathematics and Science, majoring in Mathematics with Second Class Upper honours. I am currently furthering my expertise through a Master of Philosophy in Basic Education (Mathematics and Science) at the GNAT Institute of Research and Industrial Studies, affiliated with the University of Cape Coast in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Since joining the teaching profession, I have accumulated significant and diverse experience across different educational settings. I began my career at Wawase MA Basic School in the Western Region, teaching from 2015 to 2018. I subsequently transferred to the Ashanti Region, where I taught at Amoamang Methodist Primary School from 2018 to 2025. I am presently a teacher of Mathematics and Integrated Science at Mpobi DA Junior High School, where I contribute to improving literacy in STEM and mentoring young learners to reach their full potential. Across these roles, I have demonstrated strong classroom management, differentiated instruction, learner-centered pedagogy, and the ability to adapt to varied learning needs.
My motivation to teach in the United Kingdom stems from a desire to broaden my professional experience in multicultural and technologically advanced learning environments. I am particularly inspired by the emphasis on inclusive education, evidence-based instructional practices, and continuous professional development found in these countries. I believe that joining an international teaching community will not only allow me to contribute my expertise but also strengthen my global perspective as an educator.
Beyond my professional life, I maintain a balanced and active lifestyle. My hobbies include watching action movies, American and Asian drama series, playing video games, working out at the gym, reading books, and exploring educational content online. These interests help me connect easily with students, especially in today’s digital era.
With my strong academic foundation, extensive teaching experience, and passion for student growth, I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully to any educational institution in the United States of America. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my skills, cultural perspective, and dedication to an international teaching environment.
