About
My name is Moses Yaw Eklou. I am a graduate of the University of Cape Coast, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education. I have been working as a professional teacher for the past nine years and have experience teaching diverse student populations. I have worked across multiple grade levels, from elementary school to middle school and high school.
My teaching philosophy is that students learn and appreciate mathematics better when concepts are connected to real-life situations. Therefore, as part of my teaching strategies, I use project-based learning, storytelling, and audio-visual presentations to help students relate mathematical concepts to everyday life.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing basketball and football, and listening to music in my free time. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my international teaching experience to a U.S. classroom while continuing to grow as an educator.Thank you.
