I focused on inquiry based learning and differentiated instruction. I designed interactive lessons, visual aids, multimedia presentation and adapted digital tools in my instruction such PhET interactive Simulation, khan Academy and kahoot for visualization and active engagement in learning abstract science concepts. I am always open for feedback to refine my teaching, collaborative with colleagues and adaptable as well in diverse classroom.
About
A licensed science teacher with 21 years of teaching experience from both Junior and senior high school across from private and schools. I started teaching in my alma mater and spent for seven years in private schools before moving to public education, which strengthened my adaptability, resilience and commitment to teaching. In my classroom, I am guided with the three R's: Respect, responsibility and relationship in creating a structured and safe learning environment, encouraging student's ownership during experiments and other tasks and building positive connection with them. I am passionate and committed in making science engaging, accessible and relevant through using inquiry based and differentiated instruction. I was awarded as Outstanding Classroom Learning Resource Depot 2022, Outstanding Teacher-I Secondary Level - Gabi Ng Parangal 2019 and Presented a Research during the International Conference On Science And Mathematics Education (COSMED) And TIMSS International Symposium 2019 at Penang, Malaysia and Recipient of Gearing Up Responsible And Outstanding (GURO 21 Course 1) for Teachers In Southeast Asia For The 21St Century in 2019. Also, recognized as Demonstration Teacher - SHS Mass Training Of Teachers Academic Track 2017.
