About
I am Mira Luna O. Khu, a certified K–8 teacher in Arizona with experience teaching Grades 5–7 Science. I
use differentiated instruction, ongoing assessment, data analysis, and flexible grouping to ensure
students achieve daily learning goals.
I am a returning J1 teacher and will complete/finished my 212 home residency this October 2026. I am
currently teaching Science Grades 4–6 at Holy Cross High School, Dumaguete City, Philippines.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, I have also served as a division focal person, providing
training to teachers and school heads in the utilization of Early Language, Literacy, and Numeracy
(ELLN) Digital Courseware. I have contributed as a Regional Quality Assurance Editor for Science 6
lesson exemplars and served as a speaker and program management team member during division-wide
teacher trainings.
In addition, I have successfully implemented reading remediation programs and supported colleagues by
sharing effective strategies, interactive group activities, and improved lesson planning techniques.
