About
My name is Milkah Kemunto Nyaunga. I am an international teacher with 9 years of teaching experience teaching Geography grades 9-12. Over the years I have worked with diverse learners and that has helped me develop strong skills in differentiation , classroom management, technology intergration and building postive routines.
I am very intentional about creating a classroom that is structured, supportive and relationship based. I greet my students warmy,set clear expectations and use data and observation to adjust my instruction.I also enjoy collaborating with other teachers. As an international teacher adaptability is one of my strengths. I am open to learning about your school's system, following expectations and contributing postively to your school's culture. I am excited with the opportunity to bring my experience, work ethic , my commitment and also the energy to teach in the US. Teaching in the US will also give me an opportunity to get new teaching experiences, collaborate with other educators which will enhance my professional growth.
