About
I am Michelle L. Obelidon, a graduate of Bachelor in Elementary Education and Master of Arts in Education, with five years of classroom experience as a Special Science Elementary Teacher in the Philippines. I have taught both regular and Special Science classes, handling learners with diverse abilities—from struggling and low-emerging students to fast and advanced learners. I currently handle a Special Science class with a stronger focus on advanced Mathematics and Science, while in my first four years I served as a regular class teacher supporting developing learners.
I integrate technology in about 95% of my lessons to enhance engagement, collaboration, and higher-order thinking skills. I am a GURO 21 Flexible Learning completer with training in developing Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), allowing me to design meaningful, student-centered, and inquiry-based lessons. I am known for strong classroom management skills and for building positive, collaborative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow, think critically, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
