About
I am Michelle Laurente, a public school teacher with more than nine years of experience specializing in Mathematics instruction. I have built strong expertise in delivering learner‑centered lessons, managing diverse classrooms, and integrating technology and evidence‑based strategies to improve student learning outcomes. My skills include designing scaffolded lesson plans, differentiating instruction to meet varied learner needs, and preparing clear documentation and reports for school programs and performance reviews.
Over the years, I have achieved recognition for my contributions to both teaching and community engagement. I have successfully facilitated professional development activities, prepared standardized minutes and journals for collaborative sessions, and served as a focal person in school‑community initiatives that strengthened partnerships with parents and stakeholders. My previous experiences include teaching Mathematics across different grade levels.
With my extensive teaching background, commitment to professional growth, and readiness for international opportunities, I am confident in my ability to contribute meaningfully as a mathematics teacher in U.S. schools under the J‑1 exchange program.
