Good day!
My name is Metchell P. Matilac, an elementary teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching at La Filipina Elementary School in Tagum City, Philippines. I have handled various grade levels and subjects. I want to express my interest to apply as an elementary teacher in your school.
I graduated with Bachelor of Elementary Education at St. Mary's College in Tagum City, Philippines last March 24,2002. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management at Southwestern University in Cebu City, Philippines and graduated last May 31,2014.
My degree as well as my long years of teaching experience as an elementary teacher/inclusive , helps me provide the best quality learning for my students. I love to teach and I see myself as resourceful and creative teacher. I believe that all children have unique and varied needs.
As a teacher, I develop purposeful and appropriate lesson plans for effective teaching. I have proven effective classroom management that offers safe and inclusive environment to make students feel heard and accepted. I offer varied learning opportunities to meet the needs of 21st century learners using instructional technology. Finally, I build positive parent-teacher relationship for a successful academic year.
