About
I am an experienced Science teacher with 17 years of teaching experience across the United Kingdom, South Africa and Zimbabwe. I am trained to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with experience teaching Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, AQA GCSE Chemistry and NGSS-aligned Integrated Science. I have strong skills in lesson planning, practical laboratory teaching, inquiry-based learning, differentiation, assessment, educational technology and supporting diverse learners. I have also held academic leadership responsibilities as a Head of FET Phase, contributing to curriculum planning and student achievement. Academically, I hold a Diploma in Education, a First Class Honours degree in Life Sciences specialising in Physiology, and an MSc in Physiological Sciences, and I continue to develop professionally through postgraduate study. I am adaptable, collaborative and passionate about making Science understandable, engaging and relevant while helping students develop confidence, curiosity and critical-thinking skills.
