About
My name is Melanie O. Zabala, and I am currently serving as a Public School Master Teacher II with the Department of Education, Division of Lucena City, Philippines, where I also take on instructional leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Sacred Heart College in Lucena City and a Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Educational Management. With over 19 years of teaching experience in both private and public schools, I have developed a strong ability to deliver effective, engaging instruction across various elementary grade levels. I currently teach Grade 1 but I was able to handle Grades 2, 3 and 4.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment where all learners feel supported and motivated to succeed. I use differentiated instruction and a variety of teaching strategies to address diverse learning needs, while maintaining a structured, positive, and well-managed classroom. In addition, my role has allowed me to collaborate with colleagues, support curriculum implementation, and contribute to school improvement efforts.
As I pursue a teaching career in the United States, I am eager to adapt to your educational system and contribute to your school community. I bring flexibility, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to continuous professional growth. I am confident that my experience and dedication to student success will allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your district.
