About
My name is Mary Cindy Aguilar, Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in General Education holder from Binalbagan Catholic College, graduated last 2016. In addition, I earned a Master of Arts in Education Major in Supervision and Administration from STI-West Negros University in the year 2021.
In my six years of teaching elementary learners under the Department of Education in the Philippines, I am equipped with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of the education landscape. Throughout my teaching journey, I have successfully delivered a range of courses and led the coordination of various school programs, demonstrating my ability to manage multifaceted responsibilities effectively.
A highlight of my career is my involvement as a quality assurance team in producing learning resources in our division. A contributor of creating story books for learners in elementary level and was awarded as a runner up in the division wide story book competition last 2023 which I team up with my collegue. Through this contribution, I was invited to be one of the panel of judges in District level Kinder Literary and Musical event specifically on draw and tell competition. I was also an active advocate of supporting indigenous learners when I was assign in the mountainous area. I conduct home visitations in each learners I had to have a glimpse of their life at home. I together with my learners, who guided my way, walked hours to reach their home destination during post pandemic time. Conducting feeding programs every month to minimize absences due to poverty. This experience has allowed me to share my thoughts and contribute professional insights, while continuously refining my own pedagogical techniques. Moreover, my engagement in capacity-building programs at local and division levels has further honed my leadership and collaborative skills, which I believe are crucial for the thriving educational environment.
Motivated by an unwavering desire for improved education, my main focus is still on accomplishing goals while keeping an open mind to advice and criticism. My ability to overcome obstacles and my commitment to diligence enable me to carry out my duties with a sense of satisfaction. Through the integration of my vast expertise with a caring, engaging, and informed pedagogical style, I am certain that I will have a significant influence on my students.
