About

I am Engr. Mark Rey Zason Embodo, CpE, MSIT, an Instructor I and IT faculty member at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Panaon Campus. Since 2018, I have been dedicated to shaping future IT professionals by combining technical instruction with research-driven innovation.

With a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Information Technology (Best Thesis Awardee), I specialize in machine learning, IoT systems, network administration, and embedded systems. My teaching portfolio includes courses in Capstone Research, Networking, and IoT, where I guide students from conceptualization to commercialization of projects.

Beyond teaching, I am an active researcher with multiple published studies on e-learning satisfaction, real-time water quality monitoring for seagrass identification, mangrove species diversity, and smart system integration. These works reflect my commitment to leveraging technology for environmental monitoring and community development.

I am also recognized for software proficiency across Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Canva, enabling me to merge technical precision with creative design. My continuous participation in faculty training programs on pedagogy, design thinking, and quality improvement underscores my dedication to lifelong learning and academic excellence.
