As a Grade 1 teacher, I possesses a variety of skills that help me create a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment for young learners. I have strong classroom management skills that allow me to maintain an organized and respectful classroom while encouraging active participation among students. I am skilled in teaching early literacy and foundational reading skills throgh engaging and developmentally appropriate strategies.
I also have effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and colleagues. I am patient, empathetic, and adaptable, understanding that each child learns differently and requires individual support and engagement.
About
I am Ms. Marisol D. Tubo, I am a dedicated Grade 1 teacher with 26 years of teaching experience in the Elementary education. I earned my Bachelor of Elementary Education here in the Philippines.
After graduating, I began my teaching career as a Grade 1 teacher in the private school for 2 years. When I passed the Licensure exam for teachers. I joined the public school system where I continue to teach until today. I finished my master’s degree. (Master of Arts in English Language Studies)
Over the years, I have developed strong expertise in teaching beginning reading. I served as a reading teacher who supports struggling readers helping them build foundational literacy skills, confidence and a love for reading. I believe that when children learn to read well in the early grades, it opens the door to all future learning and I am committed to making that happen for every child I teach.
