Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in this job position. With over 25 years of experience in education, I am confident in my ability to lead your institution.
My qualifications include a PhD in Curriculum and Evaluation obtained in 2024 from the University of Yaounde 1, Cameroon. I also hold an M.Ed in Measurement and Evaluation, a Bachelors Degree in History and Political Science and an International Diploma in HR/Personnel Management amongst others. It is important to underline the fact that my research interest is on quality education.
I am presently lecturing in some higher educational institutes in Yaounde. I served in key positions such as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of a private higher institute and others around the same town especially serving as the students Affairs Officer for over two years. My expertise includes teaching, educational administration, curriculum development, educational policy, teacher training. I have been teaching at secondary level for over the years and teaching Sciences of Education at the tertiary level. Again, I have been teaching many courses at the tertiary level in management for over the years to HND students including but not limited to Project Management. I have successfully transformed the lives of many through teaching and counselling with many succeeding in my subject area each year. I am also an Assistant Chief examiner at the Cameroon GCE Board over the years.
I have advanced analytic and critical thinking skills and I am committed to racial justice. I also have excellent oral and written communication skills and I have also innovative. I am open to knowledge sharing and constantly desire for improvement. I have planning and organizational skills and I am also results oriented. I have a strong ability to make sound judgments, navigate ambiguity and influence results through others to achieve strategic goals. I have extensive experience living and working across diverse contexts in Cameroon particularly in education, with a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness. A flexible and adaptable approach to navigating dynamic environments and ambiguity with ease. I am fluent in English and French and have strong interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Based on my education and experience, I have knowledge in curriculum development, teaching, monitoring and evaluation, experience in working with stakeholders and expertise in effective reporting.
