About
I am Teacher Rose, 29 years old, and currently serving as a public school teacher handling Grades 4, 5, and 6. I teach English, Science, Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC), and MAPEH. At present, I serve as the homeroom adviser of Grade 4 and as a subject teacher for Grades 5 and 6.
Prior to joining the public school system, I gained two years of teaching experience at Ateneo de Zamboanga University – Grade School Unit, where I served as an English subject teacher for Grades 3, 4, and 5. My responsibilities included preparing lesson plans, developing PowerPoint presentations, creating instructional materials, and designing quizzes, interdisciplinary performance tasks, projects, and quarterly assessments. I also maintained regular communication with parents by providing updates on their children's academic progress and collaborating with them to identify effective strategies for improving learner performance.
As a public school teacher, I have been entrusted with several leadership and coordination roles within the school. I currently serve as the Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Coordinator, Reading Coordinator, ARAL Program Coordinator, Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Coordinator, and Secretary of the Parents–Teachers Association (PTA). These responsibilities have strengthened my organizational, leadership, and collaboration skills while allowing me to contribute to the successful implementation of various school programs and initiatives.
My classroom responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing PowerPoint presentations, and creating instructional and assessment materials that promote meaningful learning. I assess and evaluate learners' performance through quizzes, assignments, and other classroom outputs while providing timely, constructive, and encouraging feedback to both struggling and high-performing learners. I also maintain open communication with parents by regularly updating them on their children's academic progress and classroom performance, enabling us to work together in providing appropriate interventions and support for each learner's success.
Throughout my teaching career, I have remained committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and learner-centered classroom environment. I strive to continuously improve my teaching practices, collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents, and support the holistic development of every learner entrusted to my care.
