About
I am a versatile and dedicated Special Education Teacher with over four years of experience supporting learners with diverse academic, emotional, and physical needs—particularly those with visual impairments. My teaching philosophy is rooted in empathy, innovation, and individualized instruction, ensuring that every learner receives equitable opportunities to succeed.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Educational Psychology & Special Needs) from Pwani University, I bring strong theoretical grounding combined with hands‑on classroom expertise. I specialize in Mathematics and Geography, supported by additional teaching experience in Science, Pre‑Technical Studies, Creative Arts, Music, and co‑curricular programs.
Currently, I serve at The Salvation Army Likoni Junior School for the Visually Impaired, where I not only teach but also take on leadership responsibilities. My role as Head of Mathematics and Science Departments, STEM programs lead, and Junior School timetable developer reflects my commitment to academic excellence, curriculum innovation, and school-wide organizational growth.
