About
My name is Lorenz Christopher L. Venancio, a secondary Mathematics teacher with 13 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching at Sta. Cruz High School in Bulacan, Philippines as a 9th grade Mathematics teacher. I have completed the online application in the district’s website. I want to express my interest to apply as a teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics at Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Bulacan, Philippines last 2012. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics at Bulacan State University in Bulacan, Philippines from October 1, 2014 – October 1, 2019 with 36 academic units. My advanced degrees as well as my teaching experience as a Mathematics teacher help me provide the best quality learning for my students in understanding Mathematics lessons in the most effective way. My philosophy centers on equitable access to Mathematics for all students. I use data and formative assessments to guide differentiation and ensure each student receives the appropriate support and challenge. I plan systematic lessons and provide varied opportunities to help my students understand Mathematical concepts. I always provide varied learning opportunities when I’m teaching because I believe that students learn best when they are involved in the learning process.
Central to my philosophy is the cultivation of critical thinking skills and effective problem-solving strategies. I design lessons that challenge students to think independently, analyze problems from multiple perspectives, and devise creative solutions. This not only prepares them for success in Mathematics but also equips them with valuable life skills. Acknowledging the role of technology in the modern world, I integrate technology judiciously into my teaching practices. Technological tools are utilized to enhance learning experiences, provide interactive simulations, and prepare students for the digital demands of the 21st century while maintaining a balance that ensures a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
I am an applicant from the Philippines. I would love to work in your district. All I need is a job offer, I will find my private visa sponsor. For interview, I can only do it through Google meet or Zoom. As an international teacher, I cannot process an SSN. Please allow me to use a temporary SSN so I can complete the online application. Rest assured upon arrival in the US, I will be able to get my own.
I have Foreign Credential Evaluation stating I have a Bachelor’s degree and completed 36 semester hours of graduate studies.
