I am Lorena Roxas Vergara, an English teacher and lifelong learner passionate about helping students develop their language, reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills. I am committed to creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences through innovative teaching strategies, contextualized materials, reading interventions, and journalism.
I am particularly passionate about reading development, educational technology, and journalism, including my work on PROJECT BUKLAT, an AI-assisted Phil-IRI-based reading intervention. I believe that every learner can grow and succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and opportunities.
