About

I am a dedicated and experienced Senior Mathematics and Business Studies Teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience at primary and secondary levels. I currently serve as Senior Mathematics Teacher and Head of Department – Business Studies, where I lead curriculum planning, mentor teachers, and use data-driven instruction to improve student achievement, including increasing Mathematics performance by 70%.

In addition to my subject leadership, I support learners with diverse needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. I develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), apply differentiated instruction, and provide targeted academic and behavioral support to ensure that all students succeed. I am committed to inclusive education and creating structured, supportive learning environments that promote both academic excellence and personal growth.

I am TEFL-certified and currently pursuing a Diploma in Special Needs Education. I integrate technology, active learning strategies, and continuous assessment to enhance student engagement and achievement. Beyond academics, I mentor students in STEM and personal development, helping them build confidence, responsibility, and life skills.

I am excited about the J-1 program because it provides an opportunity for meaningful cultural exchange.
